Hi, I'm Lynn Jacobs. I thank you for
visiting my site and I'd really welcome your comments in my guestbook. This site is primarily
focused at fellow persian breeders, but if you are interested in a
pet, please feel free to send me an email, I'll be happy to help you
find the kitten that you are looking for, whether it's in my cattery
or not! |
In the above photos, THEN, I lived in Manhattan Beach, CA
(Los Angeles suburb), but I've NOW
lived in Seattle, WA for 2 years. NOW, I specialize in bicolors, but as the
above pictures indicate, I have a past...
|
|
THEN, I initially registered my CFA
cattery in 1983 and actively bred persians, primarily cameos, until 1988.
During that period, I bred several Grand Champions, had three
National Color Wins, and, a female of my
breeding, CH Couronne Ingénue was the dam of the only cameo to ever make a national win in
CFA, (GRC NW Sheirkahn Temptation of Nufurs)
. The "magic" breeding that
produced Ingénue and most of my grands was GRC
RW Currle Cats Finesse of Couronne bred to GRC Midas Status of Couronne, the only
cameo grands that either cattery
produced, and both national best of color winners. The cat
pictured with me in the upper left is another product of this
breeding, GRC RW Couronne's Rhett Butler.

NOW,
having reentered the Cat Fancy, I am focusing on bicolors and
solids. Having made all
the mistakes that I ever wanted to make the first time around, I
purchased several bicolors, a couple of solids and a smoke from top
catteries around the United States. With one exception, every cat I purchased was sold as a
"top show" cat. In keeping my cattery fairly small, I plan to keep cats of
ever-improving quality or that are phenomenal producers.

My foundation males, this
time around, are GRC Candirand's Sweet Escapes of
Couronne and GRC RW Artemis Ted
E. Bear of Couronne. At this point, my cattery
also includes cats from Agonistes, Artemis [2], Barmont
[2], Harwood [2], Joleigh, Spellbound,
Sunny Ridge, GrandDelight,
Budmar, Wattkatz, and Windborne.

Since re-entering the fancy in 1998,
I have granded six cats.
Four kittens of my breeding have been very
consistent kitten winners, each having made at least one Best AB
Kitten and the large majority of finals. The only other
kitten
placed in a show home has also
consistently made finals. With a grand total of 13 kittens last year, I feel very
lucky to have five doing so well at the shows!
